10mm Nine Years War

Louis XIV French Army

I have finally finished basing my French Nine Years War army. Over 1100 figures, all Pendraken and painted mainly by Michael Sims of Mickeys Minis plus some by my friend Adrian. The flags are produced by myself.

I will be using these with Warlord Games Pike and Shotte rules, which I find handle this period very well. There are 36 foot regiments, 24 of horse and 16 cannon. This is by far the largest single army, the others are about half this size. I will be adding photo's of the Alliance forces shortly, English, Dutch, Austrian & German States, Savoy and Spanish. Then I need to finish King James' Irish forces.

  2. They are *very* nice!

And even if outnumbered they look like they're spoiling to give a good account of themselves :D

I dread to think what the shipping costs of your lead must have been!

    1. It didn't cost much as it was in the same container as the furniture and my motorbike.
